Welcome to Beyond Words.

Beyond Words is an arena tour which combines the glitz of showbiz with the phenomenal talent hidden in local communities.

It is a show like no other. Renowned artists perform alongside more than 1000 young people aged between 8 and 23, forming a highly professional choir and orchestra. Our dynamic show, which is designed, organised, and managed by a team of young people aged 16 to 23, has been staged five times in South Wales since 2011.

We have an experienced team able to manage all the logistics and the stories to prove we have changed lives. Our young organisers have gained skills making them attractive employees, and the children who take part in the concert gained confidence and amazing memories

Our Musical Director is Mason Neely, whose glittering career includes working with international artists, including Cerys Matthews, Saint Etienne, Sufjan Stevens, Lee Mead, Martyn Joseph, Paper Aeroplanes, and Lambchop. Our Director, Andy Smith, has also worked world-wide producing many youth events, including a 1000 voice opera.

Our showbiz professionals for 2019 include America’s Got Talent-winning ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, and his puppet Sam. More high-profile names are due to be announced in the coming months.

Beyond Words #Hit the right note:

Possibly the most amazing part of all this is a team of 60 young people aged 16-23 from each area where the show is taking place will be trained to organise and manage the event in their local arena giving them the same skills and experience as those who have previously taken part in the South Wales show.

The 1000 strong choir and orchestra will be comprised of young people from each area resulting in 5000 young people having this amazing experience.

Participation is open to all schools. There is no cost for participation resulting in large numbers of young people from many disadvantaged areas having access to a life changing experience
But, our tour can only be achieved with the support of our partners and sponsors, brands who share our values and who want support young people and local communities.

Now, we’re planning a five-date tour of the UK in some of the best arenas in Britain. Will you join us on the exciting journey?

In June/July 2019 the Beyond Words #Hittherightnote will be going to :

Alongside our Cardiff show, we’re adding dates in Derby, Liverpool, Newcastle and Wembley in 2019. Our ambition is to provide a life-changing opportunity for 5,000 more young people across England and Wales next year.

What are your marketing opportunities?

In 2019 we have a potential venue audience of excess of 25,000 people, with an indirect marking opportunity to up to 125,000 people.
The audiences and programme readers will include parents, grandparents, teachers, and young people and members of the local communities. This is an excellent opportunity to reach a wide demographic.
